West Bromich Albion F.C. History: (1910 – 1920)

West Bromich Albion were the champions in Second Division 1910-11 and they finished top in the table with 53 points.
They succeeded to play in the Division One for the 1911-12 season and became the runner up for the FA Cup 1912. West Bromich Albion finished at place 10th in the table in 1912 with 38 points.The FA Cup final was played between West Bromwich and Barnsley with a 0-0 draw, at the Crystal Palace on April 20th 1912 before a crowd of 55,213 fans. The team squad comprised on Pearson, Cook, Pennington, Baddeley, Buck, McNeal, Jephcot, Wright, Pailor, Bowser, Shearman, so the match was again replayed on 24-04-1912 and finally even with a lot of efforts West Bromich Albion lost that match with 1-0.
1912-13 season, their performance was average and they finished at 10th in the table with 38 point and still for 1913-14 they are playing in Division one. They won the FA Cup 1st Round, FA Cup 2nd with 2-0 against Grimsby and Leeds City respectively. They unfortunately lost the 3rd Round against Aston Villa with 2-1 and a 5th finish in the table.For the 1914-15 season, they played the FA Cup 1st Round and lost against Hull, a 10th finish in the table with 40 points.

West Bromwich Albion played well in the Division One and became the Champions of FA Community Shield with 2-0, against Tottenham on 15-05-1920.The Great War broke out in August 1914 but the season was allowed to run its course to the end of the season. With the title won at last, the team were free to go for two records which were within their grasp. They had already set a new high for the First Division points total their final tally was sixty, which stood as the best for eleven years although it should be pointed out that as the First Division had been extended that year to its present complement of twenty-two, the teams were playing four games more than in previous years. The first target was to become the first premier team to notch a century of league goals and that was duly Managed,aptly enough by ace scorer Morris, in a 1-1 draw at home to Liverpool the final total reaching 104, a huge number which was not even approached until 1929, significantly after the drastic change in the offside law which had made goals relatively easy to score by the worst sides.

The 2010–11 season was West Bromwich Albion's fifth season in the Premier League. Albion return to the Premier League after being promoted from the Championship.
